Yahoo bigwigs are spamming me!

It all started two weeks ago. I woke up in the morning to a warm sunny day and logged in to check my yahoo mail. Up to this point all was routine; what was not were the messages I had recieved.
Three messages from support@yahoo.co.in, webmaster@yahoo.co.in and register@yahoo.co.in respectively. The first two said that the password [...]

A researched definition of spyware soon

People just can’t get off from the “Let there be light” scenario. Taking inspiration from here is the Anti-Spyware Coalition, which claims that it shall soon pronounce “Let there be a definition, of spyware”.

Sweet: Give your mother/aunt/grandma a special gift. First 500 clickers get to eat at their favourite joint.
Sour: [...]

Spam attackers getting stupid

Or is it just the Nigerian/Norwegian spammers? I do not know. But I am sure of their desperate desire to coax people into believeing their tales of horror and anguish.
I mean, how brain-drained (I just invented the word) could someone be to not be able to regularly come up with new stories about their spouse/relatives [...]

Techy Spam Protection

We have all heard about using disposable email addresses and placing smart words into the email address so that humans can read it and the bots get foxed.
Here I discuss it again.
mailto is evil
You may wonder why I said this - the mailto tag makes it very easy for bots to track and harness your [...]
